Magnavox mystery

Wintermuth's Magnavox, 4th & Park.

Work being done to the facade of a retail building on the corner of Park Avenue and East 4th Street uncovered this interesting 'ghost' sign for Wintermuth's Magnavox store.

Does any reader have a recollection of the store and what it sold, the owners, and when it might have relocated or gone out of business? Please share if you do.

Meanwhile, does anybody remember the Magnavox glory days?

My only recollection is that it was Wintermutes and they sold televisions and radios and stereos. My two brothers and I bought our parents 25th wedding anniversary present from there - a Magnavox stereo console - and that would have been in 1971. I don't remember when they closed.
