Domestic spying contemplated BEFORE 9/11?

If convicted former Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio is telling the truth, he may be pointing at a smoking gun signifying Bush administration plans for a vast domestic wiretapping effort at least as early as February, 2001 -- more than SIX MONTHS before the 9/11 attacks.

The details are behind the headline of this morning's A01 story in the Washington Post.

Congress, hopefully, will want to know more.
