Obama and Dems set up HQ on East Front Street

Democratic Party HQ for the General Election,
just down the street from the Senior Center.

The Democratic Party's headquarters for the November general election is going to have a spiffy street-level space in the same newly renovated office block on East Front Street that houses the city's rented Senior Center space.

In fact, it's in the space previously occupied by the New Democrats during Mayor Al McWilliams primary and general election campaigns for his second term.

The karma should be good for those standing for election this fall.

Now, if they can just get all the signs to stay up at the same time. (The droopy one is for Democratic candidates for City Council Annie McWilliams, Adrian Mapp and William Reid.)

How can I get involved on the local level. Will like to get involved with local politics, as well as, the national politics. Any advice?
