Obama's Transition website, Inauguration tickets, job opportunities

The Obama transition has its own wesbite.

Plainfielders interested in following the transition process as President-elect Obama moves toward his January 20th swearing-in can do so by checking out the official transition website at change.gov/.

The website is constantly updated and will be a hub of information for those following the transition. It also offers an opportunity for those seeking to put their skills to use by way of working in the Obama administration -- whether as an appointee or a career civil service employee - through a 'jobs' page.

I have added a permanent link in the right-hand column of the CLIPS blog (see here).

If you're interested in attending the Inauguration ceremonies, you will want to check out this story in the LA Times -- "Obama's swearing-in: How to get tickets" -- and may The Force be with you.
