Plainfield's City Council will reorganize today at Noon in the Council Chambers/Courthouse, Watchung Avenue at East 4th Street. The public is cordially invited.
The Reorganization is preceded by a light breakfast reception hosted by Mayor Sharon Robinson-Briggs in the City Hall Library from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Use the parking lot in the rear of City Hall, 515 Watchung Avenue.
A highlight of today's festivities will be the swearing-in of Plainfield's two newly-elected Councilors, Annie McWilliams (Citywide at-large) and Adrian Mapp (Ward 3).
Traditionally, the Council sets aside time during its reorganization for the Mayor to deliver the annual 'State of the City' address. Today's address will be the final one of Mayor Robinson-Briggs' term.
