It's going to be a gorgeous summer Saturday, so why not check out two great Plainfield yard sales today, especially since they benefit worthy causes --

• Today - August 8. 9 AM - 2 PM. Reading Sisterhood Scholarship Yard Sale. The Reading Sisterhood raises funds for an annual scholarship in memory of Hope McLean-Austin, who was a special ed teacher in the Plainfield Schools. This year's scholarship goes to Brianna Shelton, granddaughter of Anna and Charles Booker. Lots of good stuff! At 1601 Watchung Avenue (corner of Charlotte Road).
