Al Goodman of Ray, Goodman and Brown; services tomorrow

Al Goodman of Ray, Goodman and Brown (formerly the Moments), Plainfield's favorite R&B group, passed away Monday during surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center (see Courier here, NY Times here).

The group's performances are enjoyed every summer at outdoor events in Plainfield, particularly the Thursday evening concerts at Plainwood Square Park, for which an appearance this year is slated for Thursday, August 12.

Services tomorrow, August 2.

Condolences to Goodman's family and friends, especially Pat Fields, who regarded him as a special friend and brother.
