Seems the unit has been on the fritz since the Courier story on August 9. Bummer.

I would like to know exactly how this technology will help the police stop crime or keep the citizens of Plainfield safe. If a criminal parks in a drive way or parking lot, then the technology is easy to get past. Before they spend a lot of money on this, then they better explain, convincingly, why they need this.

Dan, The old putting of 'stick on' notices that this vehicle, seems to be abandoned by this administration, as it was not High Tech. Hope they bring it back, along with Mayberry chalk on the tires for extended parking.
yeah so it just goes along with everything else in the city that doesn"t work. But makes great photo ops!!!!!!!!!!!
