Encounter Espagnol at Symphony Saturday

The Plainfield Symphony hosts a spectacular evening of Spanish music this Saturday.

Barcelona's own flamenco star Pedro Javier Gonzalez will be featured in a program of favorites including Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez and de Falla's Three-Cornered Hat Suite.

Those attending the after-party at Cafe Vivace will hear special flamenco treats by the artist, plus tapas and drinks at a cash bar.

Thanks for the announcement. I did not see this in the Courier's Weekend Section so I would have missed this event without your announcement. Too bad other people will miss this who don't read you. Symphony should do more about publicity to attract a larger audience. Isn't a visiting artist from Spain worth an interview in our local paper?
