Staging Sandy's debris



Mountains of debris have been piled up awaiting final removal.

But there are areas where it is being discouraged, as behind
Pueblo Viejo and behind Supremo Supermarket (above).
 
As Plainfield continues to remove mountains of debris from Hurricane Sandy, some staging areas have been developed to gather the stuff together -- and some have been barricaded to discourage illegal dumping of debris.

Plainfield is among the first communities in New Jersey to receive FEMA cleanup funding -- getting more than $1M in an award announced this past Wednesday (see story links below).

let's just hope the money actually goes to the clean up and not directly into someone's pockets because after all this is plainfield and we know how it usually works around here
