Geri Banda at the shore, just weeks go. |
A Doctor of Chiropractic, Geri -- as she was known to everyone -- lived for many years in Netherwood Heights.
A grauate of Mother Seton High School in Clark and of Seton Hall University, as well as the New York Chiropractic College, Geri practiced in Cranford while living in Plainfield.
She and her former partner, Julie Jerome, were active in promoting and supporting the Queen City Academy, Plainfield's first charter school, where their daughter Gabriele was a student.
While living in Plainfield, Geri was a faithful communicant of Grace Episcopal Church.
Saturday's visitation is from 1:00 -5:00 PM. The Gosselin Funeral Home is at 660 New Dover Road (corner of Wood Avenue) in Edison.

Thanks for posting this, Dan. She was a very dear and loyal friend to Linda and me and we miss her terribly. She loved life, loved her daughter Gabi, and had so many plans for the future. Gone much too soon.
