Councilor Brown on Mapp: If he does well, the city does well

Councilor at-large Brown welcomed the new mayor on behalf
of Council President Bridget Rivers.

Councilor at-large Tracey Brown welcomed Plainfield's new mayor, Adrian O. Mapp, at his ceremonial swearing-in on New Year's Day on the steps of City Hall.

Speaking on behalf of Council President Bridget Rivers, who could not be present, Brown graciously welcomed the new mayor, invited all to pray for him and remarked that 'if he does well, the city does well'.
