Plainfield police and emergency workers were summoned to revive a man found along the railroad embankment behind North Avenue stores near Park Avenue on Monday afternoon about 4:00 PM.
The man had been spotted earlier in the day with two other men who were not present when emergency workers were summoned.
Store owners report that efforts to revive the man were apparently unsuccessful.
